CHINA CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY WORLD STUDIES

On December 21, CCCWS Deputy Director-General Kong Genhong met with Sinan Ogan, Director of Center for International Relations and Strategic Analysis (CIRSA) of Turkey, and Assoc. Prof. Mehmet Gunal, Member of Planning and Budgetary Committee of Turkey. CIRSA is one of the three biggest think tanks in Turkey. It has branches like Energy Institute, Institute of International Relations, and Institute of Economics. Sinan expressed his strong will of cooperation between CIRSA and CCCWS, and he hoped to promote exchanges of think tanks of the two countries taking the opportunity of the CIRSA and CCCWS contact.

CCCWS Deputy Director-General Kong Genhong held discussions with Sinan Ogan, Director of CIRSA, and Assoc. Prof. Mehmet Gunal, Member of Planning and Budgetary Committee of Turkey.

Dr. Kong Genhong put forward proposals for exchanges and cooperation of the two Centers as follows: exchange of delegations between the two Centers, holding discussions on issues of common concern; CCCWS invited CIRSA to participate in the first “Contemporary World Forum”, and the two sides could sign memorandum of understanding when conditions are ripe.
