CHINA CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY WORLD STUDIES

On December 2, CCCWS Deputy Director-General Kong Genhong met with the delegation of BRICS Policy Center of Brazil. The delegation is now on a visit in China at the invitation of CCCWS. Dr. Kong Genhong extended a warm welcome to the delegation and wished the delegation in advance a complete success for their visit.

Dr. Kong Genhong briefed the visitors on China’s basic situation, its modern history, the Communist Party of China and its 90 years of development, the achievements and experience of China’s reform and opening-up, and the fundamental characteristics of China’s democratic politics. Kong also answered questions put forward by Brazilian guests.

Mr. Kunka Kunia from the delegation expressed the view that both China and Brazil were rich in history and shared many similarities, and that as another BRICS country, Brazil had much to learn from China.
