CHINA CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY WORLD STUDIES

On November 21, CCCWS President Yu Hongjun met with Yonatan Touval, Senior Researcher from “Geneva Initiative” Peace Education Center in Tel Aviv of Israel. The two sides exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East, political development in turbulent countries, Israel-Turkey and Israel-Palestine relations, and influence of the external powers in the Middle East. Besides, both sides agreed to continuously promote the exchanges and cooperation between the two research institutes. Dr. Yu Hongjun indicated that China sincerely hoped the relevant countries could solve the contradictions within and between the countries through peaceful negotiations, resolve grievances of the history, and realize stability of the countries and the region. CCCWS Deputy Director-General Hu Hao was at the meeting.
