CHINA CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY WORLD STUDIES

From 21 to 25 October, 2014, a CCCWS study delegation headed by its Deputy Director-General Dr. Hu Hao, participated in the 11^th annual conference of the Valdai Discussion Club held in Sochi in Russia. At the conference, the delegation held discussions with the Club’s relevant leaders, conference participants and media on relevant issues, and made a field study on the Club’s operation.

The conference attracted more than 100 scholars, journalists, present and former political figures from 25 countries of the world, with the theme “The World Order: New Rules or No Rules?” Some important political figures from Russia including President Putin attended the conference, and had interactions with the participants.
