CHINA CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY WORLD STUDIES

On November 1, Dr. Yu Hongjun, CCCWS President met with the 4-member delegation of Rosa-Luxemburg Foundation (RSL) led by its Chairman of Board Mr. Heinz Vietze in Beijing. CCCWS and RSL co-sponsored the international symposium titled “2020: WHITHER THE WORLD IN THE COMING DECADE”. Yu Hongjun warmly welcomed the delegation, and highly esteemed the exchanges and cooperation between RSL and CCCWS for years. The two sides exchanged views on situation in Western Asia and Northern Africa, sovereign debt crisis in Europe and political party situation in Germany and so on. Michael Brie, Director of Political Analysis Institute of RSL, Marlies Linke, Manager of RSL Asia Project, Lutz Phole, Director of RSL Beijing Office, and Lu Jing, Council member of CCCWS and Deputy Director-General of Research Office of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, Dr. Hu Hao, Deputy Director-General of CCCWS were at present.
