Deputy Director-General Hu Hao Holds Discussions with officials from the Embassy of Brazil in China
On the afternoon of September 13 in Beijing, CCCWS Deputy Director-General Hu Hao held discussions with Claudio Garon, Minister Counselor of Brazilian Embassy in China and his colleagues. The two Sides exchanged views on international stucture, China-Brazil relations, BRICS cooperations, China-Russia-India relations and Middle East situations.

Dr. Hu Hao spoke highly of the development of China-Brazil relationship. He said that both China and Brazil are emerging developing Countries as well as members of “BRICS” with extensive consensus on international and regional issues. It is very significant for the two countries to strengthen their think tank, social group and cultural exchanges. And CCCWS is willing to conduct institutionalized exchanges and cooperation with Brazil’s think tanks, so as to make concerted efforts to promote development of the China-Brazil relations. Garon said that China has a very long history with rich and profound culture heritage, and has made remarkable and admirable achievements in its development. He agreed to the proposal of strengthening the think tank exchanges between the two countries, and said that the Brazilian Embassy in China hopes to establish an institutionalized relationship of exchanges and cooperation with CCCWS, so as to frequently exchange views on the international and regional issues, stimulate communications, deepen understanding and enhance consensus, and promote the development of the China-Brazil relations.
