"The Party and the World Dialogue 2014" will be held in Beijing from Sept.3rd to Sept. 4th. This Dialogue is to be sponsored by China Center for Contemporary World Studies (CCCWS) and China Foundation for Peace and Development (CFPD). The theme of the Dialogue is China's New Reforms: the Role of the Party.
2014 is a crucial year for China. This year marks the beginning of the overall implementation of the comprehensive reform plans ratified by the Third Plenum of the 18th Central Committee of CPC in 2013.The world is watching closely how China is to translate its ambitious plan of new reforms into realities and how China repositions itself in the world against the backdrop of complex global changes.The Party and the World Dialogue 2014 seeks to blaze the trail by inaugurating a regularly held forum for the Party to speak directly to the world, and vice versa.
More than 50 scholars, experts and prominent political figures from over 30 countries will participate in the conference and panel discussions.
