CHINA CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY WORLD STUDIES

On 4th July, CCCWS President Yu Hongjun and his delegation met with Mr. Andros Kyprianou, General-Secretary of the Progressive Party of Working People of Cyprus in Nicosia. The two sides exchanged views on China-Cyprus relations and think tank exchanges between the two countries.

On the same day, CCCWS President Yu Hongjun and his delegation held discussions with Mr. Yiannakis Kolokasidis, Member of the Political Bureau and Secretary-General of the Central Committee of the Progressive Party of Working People of Cyprus, President of the Research Institute PROMITHEAS. Dr. Yu on behalf of CCCWS signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Research Institute PROMITHEAS. President Yu Hongjun and his delegation accompanied by Mr. Kolokasidis, visited the History Museum of the Progressive Party of Working People of Cyprus, and participated in the recreational activities held by the Youth organization of the Party on the square.

President Yu Hongjun and his delegation began their visit to Cyprus from 3^rd July at the invitation of the Research Institute PROMITHEAS.
