CHINA CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY WORLD STUDIES

On May 19^th 2014, at the invitation of CCCWS, Mr. Sameh EL-Shahat, President of China-I Risk Management Advisory, made his presentation on the building of BCIM. In the follow-up discussions, the two sides exchanged views on the roadmap of building Bangladesh-China- India- Myanmar Economic Corridor (BCIM). Based on his studies of the political atmosphere and public attitudes of Myanmar, India and Bangladesh towards China, Sameh EL-Shahat highlighted the importance of risk management in the building of BCIM.

The meeting was chaired by Ms. Sun Haiyan, Director-General of CCCWS.
