CCCWS Delegation And Korea National Diplomatic Academy Co-hosted A Symposium

On the afternoon of 19th March, President Yu Hongjun led a CCCWS delegation attended the symposium titled “Review And Prospect For China-South Korea Relations For Twenty Years”, which was co-hosted by CCCWS and Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) in Seoul.

On the afternoon of 19th March, CCCWS President Yu Hongjun met with Chancellor Kim Byung-Kook of KNDA in Seoul.

More than ten South Korean experts including KNDA Chancellor Kim Byung-Kook, Amb. Shin Jung-seung, Director of Center for Chinese Studies of Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) and former Ambassador to China, Mr. Kim Byong-seop, Director-General of Department of International Economy & Trade Studies of IFANS, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade participated in the symposium. The two sides exchanged views on China-South Korea relations, situation in Korean peninsula, Northeast Asia security and cooperation, and reached an agreement to strengthen the think tank exchanges. Chancellor Kim Byung-Kook said that KNDA took cooperation with CCCWS as an important part of the “1.5 track diplomacy” between the two countries, and hoped to enhance long-term exchanges and cooperation with CCCWS. CCCWS Deputy Director-General Hu Hao, Research Fellow Yang Hongxi, and Associate Research Fellow Zhang Guifeng attended the symposium.
