CHINA CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY WORLD STUDIES

From 18th to 20th March, IDCPC Vice Minister and CCCWS President Yu Hongjun visited Republic Of Korea at the invitation of Korea National Diplomatic Academy.

During the visit, Dr.Yu Hongjun and the delegation met with Mr. Kim Sung-Hwan, Minister of Foreign Afairs and Trade Republic of Korea, and held discussions with Chancellor Kim Byung-Kook of Korea National Diplomatic Academy, exchanging views on China-South Korea relations and regional situation.

On Mar. 18, Ambassador Zhang Xinsen of China to Republic Of Korea met with Dr. Yu and the delegation,   briefed them about the situation of China- South Korea relations. He said that consistently promoting exchanges and cooperation of political parties and think tanks between China and Republic Of Korea is conducive to improving mutual understanding and promoting healthy and stable development of the bilateral relations. Dr. Yu expressed the view that he would strengthen exchanges and cooperation of think tanks, so as to make contribution to bilateral relations.
