On the afternoon of 20 Feb., CCCWS and School of International Studies (SIS) of Remin University of China (RUC) co-hosted “CONTEMPORARY WORLD LECTURE SERIES- MR. FABIUS’ LECTURE” at Yifu International Conference Center of RUC. CCCWS President Yu Hongjun attended and chaired the Lecture. Mr. Laurent Fabius, former Prime Minister of France, former Speaker of Parliament and former First General-Secretary of Socialist Party of France lectured on European Debt Crisis And The Future Of EU. Present at the lecture were RUC President Chen Yulu, Vice-President Yang Huilin, SIS Executive Director Chen Yue, Deputy Director Jin Canrong, Deputy Director-Generals Yu Xiaoxuan and Zhang Jianguo of Bureau No. Eight of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPCCC), and CCCWS Deputy Director-General Kong Genhong. In addition, more than fifty teachers and students from SIS, researchers from Research Office, Bureau No. Eight, and Information and Compilation Office of IDCPCCC attended the lecture.
