CHINA CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY WORLD STUDIES

On Mar. 11 2014, CCCWS Deputy General-Director Hu Hao met with an international law expert group, which included Costa Rica former Foreign Minister Bruno Stagno Ugarte. Both sides exchanged views on the role of International Criminal Court (ICC), Chinese role in the UN, Syria and Libya issues. The international law expert group came to Beijing for participating in the Workshop titled “UN Security Council and International Criminal Court”.

Also present at the meeting are CCCWS Research Fellows Ms. Mou Hong, Mr. Gao Lianjia, Associate Research Fellows Mr. Lin Yongliang, Mr. Zheng Dongchao; and foreign experts David Kaye, Tendayi Achiume, David Bosco, Joshua Eisenman, Silvia Fernandez Gurmendi, Alexander Khodakov, Diane Orentlicher, Dire Tladi, Alex Whiting, all of whom are researchers of or practitioners in international law.
