CCCWS Deputy Director-General Dr. Hu Hao Met with Scholars from Cambridge University

On Feb 28th 2014 at Cambridge, Dr. Hu Hao, Deputy Director-General of CCCWS and Head of CCCWS delegation on a visit to UK at the invitation of UK Embassy in China, met with scholars from Cambridge University: Mr. Christopher Hill, Head of Department of Politics and International Studies, Yaacov Vertzberger, Professor of International Relations of Hebrew University, Dr. Kun-Chin LIN, University Lecturer in Politics, Jonathan Fenby, Managing Director China Team.

 

The two sides discussed issues of common interest, including the world perceptions of China’s role in contemporary world, tensions in East Asia, China’s relations with its South East Asian countries, UK’s foreign policy, etc.

 

Also present at the meeting were CCCWS Research Fellows Ms. Mou Hong, Mr. Gao Lianjia, Associate Research Fellows Mr. Li Shipeng, Mr. Zhang Weijie, and Mr. Stephen Lenard, Second Secretary of UK Embassy in China, and about twenty international students at Cambridge University. 

CCCWS delegation held discussions with scholars from Cambridge University.
