CHINA CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY WORLD STUDIES

On Feb 27^th 2014 at Oxford, Dr. Hu Hao, Deputy Director-General of CCCWS and Head of CCCWS delegation on a visit to UK at the invitation of UK Embassy in China, met with scholars from Oxford University: Mr. Alan Hudson, Director of Programs in Leadership and Public Policy, Dr. Rogier Creemers, Research Officer of Programme in Comparative Media Law and Policy, Dr Katherine Morton, Associate Dean for Research and Senior Fellow of Department of International Relations, College of Asia and the Pacific, Australian National University, and others.

The two sides discussed issues of common interest, including world perceptions of China, tensions in East Asia, China’s relations with its near abroad, etc.

Also present at the meeting were CCCWS Research Fellows Ms. Mou Hong, Mr. Gao Lianjia, Associate Research Fellows Mr. Li Shipeng, Mr. Zhang Weijie, and Mr. Stephen Lenard, Second Secretary of UK Embassy in China, Christopher Kutarna and Julian Gruin, both being Doctoral Candidates of Department of Politics and International Relations, Oxford University.

Dr. Hu Hao, Deputy Director-General of CCCWS,    met with scholars from Oxford University.
