CHINA CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY WORLD STUDIES

On Oct. 12^th and 13^th, CCCWS Deputy Director-General Dr. Jin Xin led a delegation attending The Second Asia-Pacific Forum, and made a speech titled “Asia-Pacific Security: Opportunities and Challenges”.

CCCWS Deputy Director-General Dr. Jin Xin attended The Second Asia-Pacific Forum.

This forum was co-sponsored by Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) and APEC Study Center with the theme of “Integration of Russia into Asia Pacific as the Fulfillment of the Results of APEC Summit”. Around one hundred scholars from Russia, China, US, Canada, Japan, Republic of Korea, and Thailand participated in the conference. CCCWS Research Fellow Gao Lianjia made a presentation titled “The Future of Nuclear Energy in Asia Pacific: Risks and Cooperation”.

The Second Asia-Pacific Forum was co-sponsored by Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) and APEC Study Center in Moscow.
