CCCWS together with German Korber foundation and Carnegie Europe co-host an international conference “President Xi’s Visit to Europe: What China Has Said and What Europe has heard”.

On 16 June, 2014 in Brussels, CCCWS together with German Korber foundation and Carnegie Europe co-hosted an international conference “President Xi’s Visit to Europe: What China Has Said and What Europe has heard”. Mr. Guo Yezhou, Chairman of the CCCWS Council, Ms. Sun Haiyan, CCCWS Director-General, and more than twenty high-level figures from the EU policy-making and research circles including Mr. Klaus Wehmeier, Vice Chairman of the Executive Board of Korber foundation, Mr. Jan Techau, Director of Carnegie Europe, Mr. Reinhard Buetikofer, Joint Chairman of the European Green Party and MP of the European Parliament, and Mr. Miguel Ceballos Baron, Member of Cabinet of Catherine Ashton (High Representative of the EU Foreign and Security Policy) and former Councilor of the EU Delegation to China took part in the conference.

The participants from China and Europe from their respective dimensions express their views on the core message President Xi Jinping conveyed to Europe during his recent visit to Europe, the message Europe received from his visit and the relevant issues of China-Europe relations. Besides, they hold discussions on the international and regional situations of common concern.
