CHINA CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY WORLD STUDIES

On December 26^th, 2014, China Center for Contemporary World Studies (CCCWS) held a seminar with senior management of Chinese businesses on how to cooperate and form a synergy for the “One Belt One Road” initiative. Attendant at the seminar were persons in charge of enterprises directly engaged in the initiative, including PetroChina Company Limited, China Power Investment Corporation, China Railway International Group, China Communications Construction Company, China Development Bank, Huawei Technology Company, etc. They exchanged opinions on issues like political and security risks for enterprises investing and operating in countries along the Silk Road Economic Belt and 21^st Century Maritime Silk Road, status of corporate social responsibility abroad, coordination of resources for public diplomacy, and building favorable public opinion environment for corporate operation and project realization.
