CHINA CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY WORLD STUDIES

From Sept. 1^st to the 3^rd, 2016, in Duisburg of Germany, CCCWS delegation headed by Deputy Director-General Dr. Jin Xin had a fruitful discussion with scholars, officials and influential business people from China, Germany and some other EU countries.

The delegation participated in the Second International Forum on the ‘New Silk Road’ and Sino-European Cooperation, which is co-organized by CCCWS, Institute of East Asian Studies IN-EAST, and Confucius Institute Metropolis Ruhr, with a view to enhancing China-EU cooperation within the frameworks of the Belt and Road Initiative.

Around two hundred academics, government officials, business representatives from around 10 countries attended this conference. Dr. Jin Xin made opening remarks illuminating the New Impetus to China-EU Cooperation, and participated in a panel discussion focusing on the Belt and Road Initiative in the context of China-EU cooperation.
