"China in Sight Global Insight" Forum 2025 Held in Beijing

Beijing, September 12th—The "China in Sight, Global Insight" Forum 2025 was held here today. The forum, themed "High-Quality Cooperation for Global Peace, Stability and Development", was co-hosted by the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC) and Renmin University of China, and co-organized by the China Center for Contemporary World Studies of the IDCPC and the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China. Ma Hui, Vice-minister of the IDCPC and Co-Chairman of the Council of the Silk Road Think Tank Association (SRTA), Zhang Donggang, Party Secretary of Renmin University of China, Erika Farias, Vice President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Adrian Severin, former Deputy Prime Minister and former Foreign Minister of Romania, and Gustavo Pacheco Villar, former President of the Andean Parliament and President of the International Institute of Governance of Peru, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. More than 200 political leaders, think tank scholars and representatives from the business communities of 43 countries engaged in in-depth exchanges around the theme of the forum.

The guests highly praised China's development achievements for making significant contributions to global development and prosperity. They believed that the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative, the Global Civilization Initiative and the Global Governance Initiative proposed by President Xi Jinping promote and lead international mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation as well as global peace and stability from different dimensions, injecting strong certainty and positive energy into the turbulent world. The forum also featured activities such as the release of achievements, plenary sessions and parallel forums. Severin and Pacheco were appointed as members of the advisory board of the SRTA, and seven foreign think tanks were admitted as council members of the SRTA.
