It is imperative for CCCWS to bear the whole picture in mind and focus on the relations between China and the outside world while setting up research projects. CCCWS is supposed to turn various resources to account and

conduct research on consequential international issues of public concern in a comprehensive, in-depth and extensive manner. CCCWS is entrusted with the mission of providing on a timely basis the Central Committee of CPC and certain agencies with in-depth research products of both strategic insight and remarkable practical value for decision-making.

It is imperative to build the team in keeping with the requirements of high status, high threshold and high qualifications of the personnel. It is imperative to temper the institution into a team of professionals with exquisite expertise. It is imperative to learn from sister institutions both home and abroad to work in a creative way and build the institution with resolve, regulating the team in accordance with regulations, standards and professionalism.
